I had been thinking whether to include all these here... I mean, it is my website, right? So, there should be more about myself, no? Well, I figured I'd add in some of the stuff I have done over the years since 1996. Any constructive criticism is welcome. Constructive is the operative word here, people! :p I wrote some stuff on what they are about. I hope I don't come out sounding like an idiot talking crap about crap. Anywayz, just read on if you're interested. Otherwise, you see that small little at the top right hand corner of this window?

ZuL's Creations : Poems
I've written so many poems over the years, but a lot of them suck and a fraction is missing and some that I keep in my computer are crap. These are the few that I am willing to post up here without being totally embarrassed, arranged from oldest to latest. But just because I wrote about it, it doesn't mean necessarily mean that I went through it. Unless I state so. =]
[ A couple of people whom I showed this to didn't like it... This is a bit different from how I usually write, anyways. Just experimenting. ]
[ This is kind of a special one, since I wrote this with a couple of my friends, for a school project a few years ago in Woodlands Secondary School... Remember it, guys? ]
[ This one... I wrote of a situation I was in, although the feelings, I realise now, are all untrue. This is what I thought I might have felt... ]
[ Maybe you could just try to feel this? ]
[ This one, I wrote while sitting in someone else's shoes. ]
[ And this one, after reading and being inspired by too much "real" poems. ]
[ Saying goodbye to a lousy friend because of what the person did to you and how the person mistreated you. More of a fiction than reality. ]
[ Will breaking up ever be easy? ]
[ I had a crush on someone... And this shows the way what I felt built up and how I realised - You just read it, yeah? ]
[ A Whitney Houston video clip came up one night while I was watching TV. It's called "I Learned From The Best", if I'm not wrong. She sang about how a guy did these crappy things to her; cheated her and everything... I was moved to reply a defense for the guy. ]
[ This was one of the things I did when I begun to show what I wrote to people... A friend, Aida, asked if the person in this was me... I said no. ]
[ What? What's that you said? The title is kinda irrelevant? Try reading it again, then. ]
[ We all ache in some way or the other, don't we? ]
[ Unbearable emptiness that you can do nothing about. ]
[ Reminiscing on older times, even though I'm not that old! :Þ ]
[ Written on 13th November 2000... This is half fictional. ]
[ Written on 4th December 2000. Totally fiction. I wouldn't mind my life be something like this, though. :p ]
[ Written on 4th December 2000. ]
[ I just picked up a pen one night and started writing this. I wrote this on the 24th December 2000, if I remember correctly. Or was it on Christmas Day? Anywayz, a few weeks after, I actually went up in front of my class and read this out! It was during my Report Writing & Presentation class when our relief teacher told each one of us to stand and talk about anything for 2 minutes. I talked about music, the basic kind of genre I like, and how an artiste inspired me to start writing poems 5 years ago, and I concluded with this piece. If I'm not wrong, when I peeked at the grades paper (yeah, he graded us!), I got either an A or an A+. Weird, isn't it? ]
[ I wrote this in a span of a week. I couldn't really find the right words at each phase, so I put it off day after day. I finished this on the 17th January 2001. ]
[ I don't remember the date I wrote this... But I do remember that a situation that a certain someone was in inspired me to write this. I never showed this to the person, though. ]
[ This is a poem I wrote some New Years ago... It's kinda silly. Heh. ]
[ Nothing much to say about this one... I wrote this during the year 2000. ]
[ I wrote this on the 11th of February 2001... I think. It was for my Character Education class. We were to do this in a group, making either a sketch, poem or song. There were 3 of us in my group : Saiful, Faizal and myself. I wrote the lyrics (it's about this guy going to war), Faizal played the guitar and sang (Saiful and myself did backup vocals), and all three of us together figured out the tune with the help of two of our other friends, Azmi and Helmi. The theme was "My Country, My Home". I did my best to write a song with such a lame theme like that. It didn't turn out so bad, actually. We did a kinda sentimental slow rock thingie. The chorus was kinda catchy too. I must say it was really fun. ]
[ Written on Friday, 17th August 2001; finished at 6:30 PM. ]
[ Written on Tuesday, 29th January 2002.
I don't know what inspired me; don't even know why I just started typing this down on my computer. It just came to me, and so I put it down in words. I'm not totally sure what I think of this piece. ]
[ This was written on Sunday, 5th May 2002.
I asked some of the people from #poetry in mIRC what they think of this, and it felt kinda good hearing positive feedback. :} One of them asked me what inpired me to write this, and I replied, "I'm not sure..." I typed this down a few minutes before I logged on. I think this is the first time I ask for an opinion for something that I had just composed a few minutes before. Usually, I keep it to myself for a few days, just to think over the words and see if anything sounds too lame. Anywayz, I think there's most probably someone out there experiencing this, to the very word, and I'm just telling the person's story. Thanks to everyone who told me what they thought of this. I appreciate it. :D Especially to a certain Miss Cinderella who has a soft spot for tragedy, and Miss `suzanne, who gave me quite a high compliment. Thank you! By the way, this poem was published in my friend's 'zine's first issue, "Puink!" ]
[ Finished writing this on a Friday, 5th September 2003, at 10:12 pm.
I just felt like writing again after so long of not. There're officially poems spanning over 5 years stored in this site. :D ]
[ Done on Monday, 15th September 2003, 2:28 pm.
I started this on the bus home, and ended it at the doorstep of my house. ]
[ 17th January 2005, about 1 pm.
I was bored, and this just popped in my head while I tried to write something. It has been a long time since I wrote anything, so this one actually felt kinda special to me. ]

ZuL's Creations : Stories
I used to read a lot of books and I liked the way you can lose yourself in a world created by an author. I've tried to write some long stories for years now, but none of them were good. I found that I have all these story ideas, but can't put them together... I can't seem to be able to sit down and just write a whole long story. I would get distracted and whenever I lose concentration and try to focus again, I won't be able to continue. My memory is really bad, like that. I swear it seems like my mind operates like a faulty RAM chip rather than a hard disk. These stories are arranged in no particular order.
[ Maybe I could refine this story a little bit more, but for now, this is the way it's going to stay. ]
[ I have a couple of versions of this story, but this is the better one. Some people around me have heard the verbal version... This is my written version. I actually prefer the verbal version. I seem to be unable to relate the story in black and white as well as I could verbally. ]
[ Well, a few people who have read this story kinda liked it. And I like it too, but that's just me. This was initially my English composition for my O-Levels' Prelims, if I remember correctly. I got about 90% for this compo. What? Think I dun deserve it, duncha? :Þ ]
[ This brings back memories, man! This is the original script written by me, and a couple of ex-secondary school classmates, Hisyam and Puanes. Acted by a whole bunch of people... A school thing again. It was so hilarious acted by them! It isn't all that funny read, but the sketch was really funny 'cause they did a lot of improvisations; some of which were impromptu! Unless you were there, guess you'll just have to take my word for it. ]

ZuL's Creations : Graphics
This is something quite recent that I've been interested in. The blends are arranged from oldest to latest. I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop by a buddy, Malek, and since then I've been playing around with it and created some composites and some blends which I thought looked pretty alright. That's just me, I guess. :p
[ These were the first blends I made to join this award thingie at Blend It Baby website (no longer online). ]
[ This was for the above-mentioned website too. ]
[ There was this one bugger on mIRC who said that this "looks too professional to be credited as" my work. And I was like, "I've got the Photoshop file to prove it, man!" Haha. Forget it, he's not graphically inclined. He wouldn't know between a professional work and an amateur try. :p ]
[ I created this composite for another award-giving blend site, Kitty Creative (also no longer online). This was my first submit to this site. I think I've been using scanlines too much in all my composites. In fact, I might need to check myself to Scanlines Addict Anonymous. :p ]
[ A friend, Shah Nor, asked me to create some sort of a poster for the first issue of this 'zine she's working on. Go to this site to check it out and find out what's with the name : Puink! And I came up with this composite. I asked a few friends for their opinions on this image before I showed it to her, and they all had a lot of different ideas on what would look better! One of them was that it would look better with an orca instead of the dolphin. I was like, "Okay, I'll try that if this one doesn't work, aight???" I was kinda aiming for a peaceful kind of feel, but yet at the same time rebellious. Ahakz~. But she said that it was "cool" and "inspiring". :D Thanks for the compliment, Shah Nor. She printed the grayscale version of this poster in her 'zine, "Puink!". It turned out um... Horrible. :P ]
[ I made this for the Kitty Creative graphic challenge too. My 2nd submit to this site. ]
[ My first submit to a blend site called Rivendell Blends (also no longer online). The start of my um, "chrome" craze. Well, not really the starting. I've liked the chromed/metallic look since years back. This is just me exploring with chrome in blends/composites and interface-like images in Photoshop. ]
[ This is another blend to Kitty Creative, my 3rd submit. Moving further on my exploration of chromic look. This has more of an interface look to it. I think I played more with the metallic stuff more than the blend. Ahakz~ :P I kinda like this one. ]
[ And moving further on with my exploration! :D This is my first submit to another blend site : Star Blends (yet another offline). It's of Rachel Stevens from S Club 7. I gotta say I like this one too. I know it's a bit crowded though. I wanted to squeeze in bigger images, but I held back. Boy, did I hold back. ]
[ I'm in a 200-steps program to get myself off using the chrome look over and over again. :P No, seriously. I really should stop. *sigh...* This is a blend to Star Blends too. If you ever go to the site and see the "Summer With Sarah" version, I wanna say that I had helped her code that site. :, Laila (owner of Kitty Creative) designed the layout for Alexandra (the owner of Star Blends), and Alexandra asked for my help to code it. Should I be worried that I know these blend sites owners' names? ]
[ Couldn't help it. I kinda copied the Rachel Stevens blend a bit for the decorative border. Out of ideas. This blend was for Celebrity Blends (offline). ]
[ Here's a blend I made for another Star Blends challenge. Katie Holmes, of Dawson's Creek fame. She's kinda cute. :/ I went cold turkey on the chrome in this one. ]
[ I was kinda wired up when I saw a challenge in Blendoholics (pretty much offline as well) with the Spider-Man theme. I am a Spider-Man freak if anyone doesn't know. :p Oh, and by the way, say hello to Mr Chrome again. And, I won an award for this blend! Ahakz! My first award ever in any blend challenge site since I submitted the Keri Russell composite! :/ The award's in here too. ]
[ I think this challenge of Ryan Phillippe was in Celebrity Blends. I didn't really have any idea for this at all. I played around with the images for a while and then when I was done, the webmistress of Celebrity Blends e-mailed saying that the challenge is already closed and a new one has been posted up. Oh well, this blend wasn't all that great anyway, in my eyes. ]
[ This challenge was in Bang On Blends (gone offline as well). When I was creating this composite, I felt like it was kinda... Incomplete. But once I finished it and looked back after a while, I thought, "Hmm... It looks kinda okay." But you are entitled to hate it all you want, of course. :p ]
[ I have forgotten which site this was for... Erk. Haha. I think this could be my last blend composite for these sites. Possibly, might be for ever? I don't know. I just don't seem to have the time to do these composites nowadays. ]
[ I created some startup and shut down screens for my own use, and I figured, what the heck, I need to add something to my site anywayz, and so, I'm posting them here. :p ]
[ I created this one for a friend. ]
[ This is paired with the one above. ]
[ This can be paired with the couple above. ]
[ I had this image as my startup screen back when I was using Windows 98. ]
[ A cover design I did for my friend's 'zine, the second issue of Puink! I keep hoping that the print out of this don't look as horrible as the print out of the image I did for the 'zine's first issue. *Crosses fingers* Update : The image turned out fine, actually, even if it looked slightly stretched. She had her 'zine digitally printed and the images look much better. At least for the cover, anyways. :p ]
[ I was requested by faye on 31st December 2003 to create something from the movie A Walk To Remember. Been a long time since I received a request. Haha. Anyway, here it is. ]
